Multiple Survey Package

Job Information:

Our Scottish division, Geo-Info, was appointed to carry out a comprehensive geospatial survey package on two disused railway bridges located in the Gorbals area of Glasgow. The scope of works included a topographical survey, laser scanning, and a utility detection survey, all delivered to support structural assessments and future redevelopment planning.

Deliverables:

The scope of this survey required a detailed and accurate capture of both above-ground and sub-surface features associated with two disused railway bridge structures. The survey was conducted using a Leica P40 laser scanner, capturing high-density point cloud data of the structures and their surrounding context. The final deliverables included a Revit model referenced to the OSGB36 National Grid.

The Geo-Info team successfully delivered the full survey scope, meeting all technical requirements and deadlines. The resulting data provided the client with a complete and reliable foundation for future planning, design, and refurbishment work.
